I am a 33 year old divorced mother of three, ages 13, 11 and 3 and am in desperate need of financial assistance.  I do not qualify for state aid (and proud of that fact) because not only am I employed but I also receive a VA pension for being an Army veteran.  During my messy and ugly divorce, my ex husband left me with absolutely nothing.  And even though the court system ordered that he pay child support, he pays absolutely nothing!  I moved my sister and her young son into my home last year in hopes to get some financial relief but that didn't happen.  I was sick and out of work for 3 weeks which meant I was without pay from my job; again expecting my sister to step up and cover me but did not so I lost my house in January.  My kids and I have been living in an extended stay place since then and now I can no longer afford to.  Homeless shelters require an application and waiting period for approval and because I do have an income once again...I do not qualify.  If any one out there reading this has it in their hearts to help me get back on my feet and take care of my kids properly, please..I'm asking from the bottom of my heart that you do.  Thank you for your time and consideration!
